To close the second week of July, Sunday 12, we will think of the overwhelming show “Show Mast Go On“, a comedy of and with Marco Lanzuise and Salvatore Turco, directed by Lanzuise himself.

The central weekend of the month will begin Friday 17 July in the sign of irony with “Otello… but not too much“, written by the late Gino Cogliandro and staged by the Company “Quelli che… il teatro” with the wise direction of Gianni Parisi.

The “Comic Compagnia Salernitana” will rise on stage Sunday 19 July with “O’ son e patemo“, a comedy born from the estro of A. Avallone and G. Bonelli, who also sign the direction.

The last week of July will see five very thick appointments alternating.

Start again Friday 24 July with the “Women” of the Art Association “30 Then”, a text in two acts by Gianni Clementi directed by Vincenzo Russo.

Saturday 25 July the scene will be all for the Company “On theater training” and their “All crazy for Umby“, written by Marco Ziello and directed by the same author along with Licia Amarante.

Monday 27 July will be the turn of the Company “Samarcanda theatre” with the famous comedy in two acts by Aldo De Benedetti, “From Thursday to Thursday”, entrusted to the direction of Enzo Fauci.

The last two shows will see on stage Thursday 30 July the Company “Mani in corso” with “Waiting for Doc“, for the direction and adaptation of Roberto De Angelis, and finally Saturday 1 August the Grand Final with the Association “Arco scenico” that will present “Case“, a fun comedy in two acts adapted and directed by Rodolfo Fornario.

Great is the satisfaction of artistic director Giuseppe Giardullo, who expresses all his enthusiasm for the achievement and quality of the artists involved in this new cultural adventure: “Getting to the 16th edition is a milestone that fills us with immense pride but which, at the same time, pushes us to do more and more for our community and for all fans who flock to this magical place every year. This year we managed to set up an extraordinary program, able to make laugh, reflect and excite, putting together companies of great talent that represent the heart of our territorial theatre and not only. ”

The artistic director then wanted to emphasize the social importance of an event that manages to combine the high cultural value with total accessibility, thanks to the support of historical and institutional partners. “Teatrando al Quadriportico is not simply a show of shows, but it is a real collective rite for Salerno, a moment of strong social aggregation that we keep to entrance completely free so that culture remains a good accessible to all, no one excluded. I invite all citizens and tourists to join us in this wonderful corner of the historic center to live together a month of extraordinary July in the name of art and carefreeness. ”

The event, organized by the Cultural Association Planum Montis together with the theatrical company ESceppacentrella and in collaboration with Salerno Solidale, and the president Mena Arcieri who has always been supporter of this event, is confirmed as one of the reference points of the Salento summer.
