From 21 to 24 May, Salerno hosts the Salerno Design Week, an event that celebrates culture, art and design as instruments of urban regeneration and enhancement of local heritage.

Promoted from Confindustria Salerno, the initiative aims to:

– to enhance the design of salento and local manufacturing excellence;
– regenerate urban areas by transforming abandoned spaces into places of aggregation and beauty;
– promote the culture of design and active citizenship by engaging the whole community;
– boost tourism with international events and exhibitions, attracting visitors throughout the year.
