San Matteo 2026 – pyrotechnic show

As from tradition, even this year the “Fuochi di San Matteo“The long and passionate day of 21 September, the day of celebration of St. Matthew, Patron Saint of the city of Salerno, will be a spectacular conclusion.

Every year in fact, after following the procession and the enthralling return of the statues in the Cathedral, thousands of people pour out before the sea, largely on the seafront, to enjoy the fireworks show and greet in company the long day spent.

The spectacle of the fires at sea illuminates Salerno and the wonderful scenery of the night Gulf: a feast of lights, which constitutes a kind of collective embrace and wish for all.
