The Cold – 2026

The ice seems to take hold of Palazzo Sant’Agostino: the contours are blue, the surfaces open in crystals and the facade takes on the depth of a polar landscape. Then golden stars and hot glows bring in the scene the warmth of Christmas. The cold tells this passage, letting architecture change in front of the eyes of passersby. The imagination finds the distant places evoked by the penguins on the waterfront and approaches them to the city. In the evening of Via Roma, the ice also seems to guard the wait of a party.

Technical characteristics

The videomapping, lasting about 3 minutes, affects the facade of Palazzo Sant’Agostino, seat of the Province. Images of ice and effects of decomposing architecture dialogue with golden stars and warm lights.
