Light Tent – 2026

A long blue curtain accompanies the edge of the square facing the sea. The light points are collected on the dark band of the stone and continue, in architecture, the color of the water. Walking along the Subpiazza della Libertà, you can follow its extension and let the intermittent glow suggest the trembling of a marine surface. The intervention relies on a simple gesture, able to make visible a stretch of the landscape even after sunset. The city thus overlooks the evening through a light that is familiar to her, close to the breath of her sea.

Technical characteristics

The tent covers the vertical black stone band under the Parapet of Piazza della Libertà, along the front of the premises overlooking the sea. It extends for about 150 meters and is 1.5 meters high. The display consists of 75 blue LED modules, integrated with stroboscopic lights and attached to the parapet.
