The Society of Art presents
directed by Antonello Ronga
The immortal story of James Matthew Barrie told by the company of art, in a beautiful original musical comedy, where fantasy and reality mix up to become a unique thing.
A fairy tale for young and old who tells the most beautiful journey, grow. Who of us, in the end, did not remain a little child inside? It is probably for this reason that he has always fascinated the story of Peter Pan: the child who has never grown up and who lives on the island that is not there. A fairy tale between dream and reality, just like the lives of each of us. A pendulum that swings between everyday life and fantasy. Fantasy: a key element of this wonderful story.
It is thanks to the fantasy that Wendy, the greatest of the Darling brothers, manages to meet Peter Pan and his magical world made of pirates, lost children, waterfalls of cream and sprinkled sugar trees. It is thanks to the imagination that can begin the journey from London to the island that is not there: a journey that at first represents only a mere escape from reality, the desire to grow and be accountable − which is asked precisely to the little Wendy by her parents. But at a later time, Wendy herself, right on the so much-neededed island, will face important issues: having to accept the lost little children, transmitting their motherly love.
And then face the wickedness and ramblings of the pirates, led by Giacomo Uncino. After all, life on the island is not as easy as he had imagined. And this journey, perhaps, will serve to understand the beauty and carefreeness typical of the childhood age, but also the importance and need to grow and learn to face the problems of life. .
