The 80th edition of the International Film Festival in Salerno: a historical milestone between tradition and innovation.

Eighty years of cinema and a wall full of stories still to be shared. Founded in 1946, the International Film Festival of Salerno is able to bring on the big screen unprecedented looks, universal emotions and different languages to interpret our reality.

In this 2026, the event celebrates its historic eighteenth edition. A special event dedicated to the whole community: from historians who love to get lost in author narratives, to new generations ready to discover emerging directors and rediscover the cultural value of shared vision in the room.

The event will propose a full week of competitions, film reviews and side events aimed at enhancing film art in all its forms.
