The Other. Dance, digital and memory in passing places

Special event and extraordinary opening

Contemporary dance festival organized by the Regional Direction National Museums Campania. The program includes at 7.30 pm the performance The Angel, for the choreography of the famous dancer, choreographer, actor, mime and British painter Lindsay Kemp.

The tribute to Lindsay Kemp will continue with the opening of the photo exhibition “For you! A dream towards the East”, a visual and sensory journey into the world of choreographer danced by Daniela Maccari, curated by Daniela Maccari and David Haughton.

To follow visitors will be able to take part in the exhibition Under the same ocher sky, for the choreography of Claudio Malangone, with the elaboration of virtual reality of the Digital Monks. The performance will have as protagonist the painted chamber tomb called “of the woman with the umbrella”, found in Pontecagnano Faiano in 2017 and rebuilt in the underground of the Museum. The show will continue in museum spaces with the exhibition The Flower, the shortest and most essential among the productions of Lindsay Kemp.

To follow Framing, for choreography Virginia Spallarossa and Claudio Malangone, freely inspired by “The Exile Waiting” by the American science fiction author Vonda N. McIntyre. During the evening it will be possible to participate in a wine experience in the foyer of the museum on the ground floor.
