Eugenio Allegri has directed Matthias Martelli in the reproduction of this extraordinary work: the actor is only on stage, without tricks, with the intent to involve the public in the dramatic action, passing in a flash from the comic lace to poetry, to the human and social tragedy.

A new and original language and interpretation, in the sign of the tradition of a genre used by the medieval jesters to overturn the triumphant ideology of time, demonstrating its unfoundedness.
