In the middle of the night, on the Tower Bridge in London, a man in frack overrides the parapet to jump into the icy waters of the Thames. It is almost on the point of launching when a passerman stops him and attempts to dissuade him. Both are Italian emigrants and the suicidal aspiring decides to suspend the act to tell his despair.
Antonello of Sicilian origins, for 10 years has opened a Rosticceria specialized in Arancini, but the vice of the game has indebted him to such a point to be threatened by the London strozzini. Not seeing a way out he decides to sacrifice his life to save his family. Paul, instead, Neapolitan of birth, moved a few years earlier to the English capital opening a branch of a historic family pizzeria. He also has economic, sentimental and family problems and exposing them to the compatriot he realizes that, perhaps, he has more motivation than the other and decides to override the parapet.
The situation is overturned but Antonello fails to resist the other until the arrival of two ronda policemen intimidates Paul who falls into the security margins. Once you get away, the cops decide to dive together, but calmly. It is worth taking the opportunity and continuing the pleasant and “last” chat. They confess so sincerely and profoundly and, to exorcize their misfortunes, they tell them as an exhilarating race of losers. The retouching of the Big Ben marks the passing of time and the appetite requires the call to a rider, also and only for the whim of wanting to die on a full stomach! To punctually interrupt the various suicide attempts there will be breaks of a series of characters, strangely resembling each other until the arrival a determined influencer to resume suicide for a bang of views. .
