The scales of childhood games have become so great to compose a tree. In Piazza Vittorio Veneto, the coloured spheres are collected in a luminous construction that brings back to the memory the pleasure of choosing its own marble and following its path. The object held once in the palm of the hand becomes a presence to be observed by raising the eyes. The tree keeps something of that shared game, small challenges and friendships born around a track. In the square, Christmas finds the children’s free time and makes it available to everyone.
Technical characteristics
The composition reaches about 9 meters in height and 6 meters in diameter at the base. A central metal pole, with brackets placed around its axis, supports about 73 colored light spheres, arranged to form the profile of a Christmas tree.
