LIMEN SALERNIVAL 2026 – VII EDITION

    25 – 27 June 2026 · Arena Ghirelli, Salerno

THE TEMATICA – “Follow you to do”

After celebrating the mistake last year, the Limen Salerno Festival chooses to question the value of the Choice. At a time when algorithms, platforms and automatisms seem to increasingly decide in our place, the seventh edition claims the right to choose, wrong and change direction. In one word: live. Choosing as a human, authentic, concrete gesture. A real body to body with the reality that surrounds us.

The claim for the seventh edition is “Do as you like”. Not an invitation to distrust, but a clear stance: consciously choose, assume responsibility for their actions, do not remain real for fear of wrong. A freedom that is not isolation, but participation. A way of being in the world that is built together, within an open, heterogeneous and living community.

    MUSIC – LA LINE-UP
    25 JUNE
Rancore and Murubutu with his Moon Jazz Band open the seventh edition for an evening full of a rapture, sharp and deeply contemporary.

Rancore has been one of the most original voices of the Italian landscape for years: a unique language, capable of intertwining philosophy, everyday reality and narrative tension. His rap, often called hermetic, has become a reference point for a new form of musical writing. Among the most significant moments, the participation in the Sanremo Festival with Argentovivo, together with Daniele Silvestri, with which he conquered the Critical Award “Mia Martini”, the Prize of the Press Room “Lucio Dalla” and the “Sergio Bardotti” Award for the best text. His last album, Xenoverso, confirms his ability to innovate and experiment.

Murubutu brings on stage a unique project: rapper, author and professor of philosophy and history, is among the main exponents of the so-called “didactic therapy”. With the Moon Jazz Band reinterprets its repertoire in jazz, giving life to a show that combines word, sound and narrative, already protagonist of numerous sold out in Italian theatres.
    Opening Act: Nori, Asakaira.

    26 JUNE
The opening of the second evening will be Angelica Bove, class 2003, among the most interesting emerging voices of the new Italian scene. Roman singer-songwriter brings on stage an intimate writing and a scratching voice, capable of transforming fragility and melancholy into expressive force. After the experience at X Factor and the route to Sanremo Giovani, his artistic project continues to grow until the release of his latest work, Tana, which is receiving excellent results in terms of audience listening and attention.

Dutch Nazari, in the century Edoardo Nazari, a unique and multifaceted artist with a refined pen, which starts from the underground to conquer large slices of public. The hits like Calm the waves, All directions, Contrappoint and Higher have conquered charts and criticism.

To follow, Banda Maje & Tonico 70: a project that has roots in the culture of the territory and mixes them with funk sounds, soul and overseas disc. A sound and visual imagination that arises in the heart of the city and develops between musical contaminations, narrative and identity, creating a recognizable and deeply cinematographic style.

International guest of the evening: Mari Froes, directly from Brazil, with a unique voice and a sound that combines bossa nova, samba, pop and jazz. One of the most interesting voices of the new generation of MPB (Música Popular Brazilira). At 8 years he already sang; in 2020 he published his first EP, Nebulosa. In a short time it exceeds 70 million views, and the song Vaitimbora, along with the Trinix, reaches more than 77 million streams on Spotify.
    Opening Act: Yamigami, Feeda.

    27 JUNE
Roberto Colella inaugurates his new solo route. The singer, author and politicist, has been the frontman of La Maschera since 2013, a project that has been able to renew the Neapolitan tradition through musical and cultural contaminations. Return to the new album Ce Sta Sempe Na Via, anticipated by the single The Tree House.

To close the seventh edition will be Bandabardò, historical Italian folk rock formation, for over thirty years synonymous with energy, freedom and live spirit. With a career that crosses generations and stages all over the world, the band brings a overwhelming show to the stage, capable of transforming each concert into a collective party.
Opening Act: Luna, Antonio Saporito, Dalyrium Bay, Armando Pavone.

    LIMEN EXPO

Art is a compass that accompanies the festival since its birth. In an edition in which the Choice is celebrated as a fundamental condition for the human being, the Limen Expo represents this vision through works, immersive installations and unique creations. Among the artists involved are Adalgisa De Angelis, Antonio Amatruda, Nadia Leo, Chiara Ferrante and many others.

Oculucis is the central immersive installation: two big eyes will look at the arena for all three days of the festival, combining light, vision and perception and transforming space into a sensory experience. The artist is Hermes Mangialardo, known and appreciated internationally for his ability to transform light, movement and perception into immersive experiences.

Drug use is instead a collective exhibition that enhances the emerging talent of the territory, involving artists from the province of Salerno, investigating the daily life in its most authentic form and far from all built perfection.

Among the most significant collaborations of this edition is the one with the Artistic Liceo Sabatini-Menna. During the year, students from the classes of painting, graphics and ceramic design embarked on a PCTO journey together with Limen, contributing to the realization of an installation hosted within the festival and participating in the development of the visual component of the 2026 edition.

    ACTIVITIES IN ARENA

In addition to the concerts, the public will be able to take part in numerous activities: from the Theatre Club with the story of the historical characters from Salerno to the Cinema Club, with projections under the stars; from the Book Club with its “All You Can Read” to the “All You Can Wear” organized with the San Severino Youth Market Forum. The appointment with Psicoli, the listening desk that offers a safe and welcoming space for those who feel the need to tell or confront each other.

TALK AND WORKSHOP25 June — Screen printing workshop curated by Sciglio: participants will make a poster dedicated to the 2026 edition of the festival. To follow, talk with Philosophy Coatta, the project that through memes, irony and contemporary language makes accessible the great themes of philosophy.
