“It is an imaginary letter I write to the Commendatore Eduardo De Filippo, to tell me, to say what he represented for me and for the whole world theatre.

It is a poetic encounter, a reflection made with a loud voice, between an artist and an inaccessible giant. Eduardo De Filippo is the most represented Italian author in the world, and this would be enough to make us understand his greatness.

This time I take it on stage not to make a simple recital of poetry and songs, it would have been the perfect shortcut. I want to tell him in a more intimate, delicate, reserved way, as his life was reserved. On stage with me an extraordinary singer who will interpret the classic Neapolitans, Carmen Sognamiglio.

The Napoli Nord Ensamble will be formed by four musicians led by Maestro Mimmo Napolitano who will also take care of the arrangements.
