Sagra Lagane e Ceci – XXXIV edition

From 17 to 22 July 2026, return the long-awaited appointment with the Sagra lagane and chickpeas in Rufoli.

For all lovers of tradition, craftsmanship and good food, the Sagra Lagane and Ceci di Rufoli, now in its thirty-fourth edition, is an indispensable event to taste not only a typical dish of the Salento peasant cuisine, but also local wine and sweet lezeppole.

The Lagane, very tasty homemade pasta, hand-painted similar to large tagliatelle, are seasoned with chickpeas slowly cooked to the fire in the traditional tegami, following the ancient recipe handed down from generation to generation by the local massacres.

Every evening, moreover, the tasting will be accompanied by a rich entertainment program, with live music of various kinds designed for all tastes.

And for the little ones and the most curious, there will be street artists like jugglers, fire eaters and magicians.
