The Teatro Arbostella “Gino Esposito” was born in 2006 in Viale Giuseppe Verdi n°2, in the park Arbostella of Salerno.
The space, derived from an old prefabricated structure of the former kindergarten, has been transformed into a real theatre with a capacity of 100 places, equipped with audience, stage, camerini, toilet and rehearsal room.
Since 2009 it has been managed by the Associazione Laboratorio Teatro Arbostella, which organizes every year a review of comic amateur theater hosting amateur bell companies.
In 2022, after two years of closure for Covid and important renovation works, the theatre was re-opened with the name dedicated to the founder Gino Esposito.
In addition to the winter season, the theatre offers theatre workshops for children and adults, free shows for the elderly and the summer festival “Arena Arbostella” with theatre, music and outdoor dance.
