Avallone is the Venetian painter of reference for the first half of the twentieth century: in his extermination production have a prominent place the great decorative cycles that he realized in the Chamber of Commerce, in the Bank of Italy and in the Palazzo di Città.

Son of the painter Giuseppe Avallone, in 1903 he won a scholarship that allowed him to enroll in the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples, where he was a student of Vincenzo Volpe for painting, of Michele Cammarano for the landscape and of Stanislao List for drawing. Returned to Salerno, he was entrusted with the task of creating plafond and the curtain of the Teatro VerdiUnfortunately, they were lost.
Decorator, portraitist, landscape designer and watercolouristHe was also a teacher and a member of the Committee for the Conservation of Ancient Monuments in the province of Salerno since 1923.
