Extended description

The words of Federico García Lorca are placed in the sky of Piazza della Liberta. On the top of subtle and sinuous forms, the Capriccio poem imagines the moon as a spider and the stars entangled in its network. Luca Pannoli builds around these verses a presence that recalls waves, trees and clouds, leaving the task to slowly change its color. To read, you need to raise your eyes. The gesture combines the words to the heavenly vault and transforms the rest in the square into a moment of contemplation, open to the sea and the night.

Technical characteristics

The work measures about 4 meters wide and depth and 7 meters high. Aluminum curved tubers support the letters of poetry, also in aluminum and illuminated by LED tubes. Four variable colour projectors, placed in the base, illuminate the structure with gradual chromatic passages. The forms remain visible even in the day.
