Musa of the clouds

In via Botteghelle a hair is made sky. The hair of the Musa of the clouds melt in light forms, shaded with pink, violet and blue, until confused with the clouds surrounding it. The transformation remains suspended in front of the eyes, as a thought while changing form. It is one of the three figures with which Luca Pannoli tells the belonging of the human being to nature. Among the facades of the historic center, this presence invites you to feel part of the landscape and to recognize, in the fragility of a cloud, something that concerns us closely.

Technical characteristics

The female figure is 2.5 meters high and is accompanied by 20 clouds and by the light writing “We are Nature”. Hair and clouds are composed of plates of Plexiglas alveolare with pink, violet, blue and cangiant reflexes.

Butterfly Muse

The hands of the Butterfly Muse open in a flight that runs through the streets. Small suspended wings continue his gesture, while a blue line accompanies the trajectory between the buildings. The human body seems to entrust to space a part of itself, and the border with the animal world becomes light. In the streets of the historic center, Luca Pannoli makes visible a link that we often cross distractively. Following the butterflies, the step finds a more attentive rhythm: each shape belongs to the same scene and its delicacy becomes an invitation to care.

Technical characteristics

The muse, 2.5 meters high, is accompanied by 280 shaped and curved Plexiglas butterflies, with dimensions of 20, 25 and 30 cm. External projectors illuminate the wings. A blue LED tube, supported by curved aluminium profiles, draws the route of the flight; the writing “We are Nature” completes the work.

Musa of the trees

From the hands of the Muse of the trees arise branches. The gesture of arms continues in the luminous blooms that inhabit the streets, as if the body had found a new way of growing. The cold and pink shades accompany this metamorphosis, while the reflections of the figure change with the look. In the third muse of Luca Pannoli, the proximity between people and plants becomes an image to cross. The branches seem to look for space between the houses and remember how much of our life depends on what puts roots, blooms and renews next to us.

Technical characteristics

The muse, 2.5 meters high, consists of silhouettes of Plexiglas alveolare with film with cangiant reflections and white LED light. It is accompanied by 22 three-dimensional aluminium branches, illuminated by cold white and pink micro-lights with intermittent effect. Two smaller branches continue the gesture of the hands. It is present the luminous writing “We are Nature”.
