    Description

Teatro Arbostella – XIX Season Theatre Comica

Presented the XIX season of the Teatro Arbostella “Gino Esposito” of Salerno. A sign that combines tradition and novelty, confirming the vocation of the structure of Viale Verdi as a point of reference for the amateur theater of quality, under the artistic and organizational direction of Arturo Esposito and Immaculate Caracciuolo, in the furrow of the inheritance left by the regret Gino Esposito.

The new season will keep the formula now consolidated: 10 shows in subscription, from October to May, with every comedy on stage for three consecutive weekends between Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon.

Among the confirmations are Sasà Palumbo, protagonist both of the opening and the closing of the season, Rino Grillo, present with two shows, Felice Pace and Franco Tortora.

Ample space will also be reserved for the Salernitane companies. Present are the stable groups of the Arbostella or the companies led by Francesco Delli Priscoli and Gaetano Troiano, to which is added the return of the company L’Eclissi, which will take on stage “Il Medico dei Pazzi” of Eduardo Scarpetta.

Among the novelties is the entrance of the Compagnia del Teatro Popolare Salernitano, directed by Roberto and Anna Nisivoccia, who will propose Taxi to two squares of Ray Cooney. A symbolic return that renews the historical link between the Esposito and Nisivoccia families, born at the time of the Sangenesio Theatre.

The billboard will include texts by classical authors such as Eduardo Scarpetta, Gaetano Di Maio, Paola Riccora, Ray Cooney and contemporary authors such as Ciro Cerruti and the aforementioned Sasà Palumbo, Rino Grillo, Gaetano Troiano.

In addition to the performances, the Arbostella Theatre confirms its commitment to education and social work with theater workshops for adults and young people curated by Gaetano Troiano, those dedicated to children in collaboration with “La Bottega di Will” by Teresa Di Florio, the appointments for the third age and the traditional “Domenics at the theatre with grandparents and grandchildren”.

Also confirmed are Arena Arbostella, scheduled in the last week of August.

The subscription campaign will continue until 24 July, then resume in September, from Monday to Friday from 19 to 21.

The ten shows subscription cost 120€.

There are conventions with commercial activities and the possibility to use the Teacher Bonus.
