Polar landscape – 2025

An adult bear and two small ones live a landscape of ice, between the white profiles and the blue that suggests water. Inside their figures, bright spheres change color and make the scene alive of unexpected reflections. In Bolognini square, the distance of the polar world is measured by the proximity of an animal family. Curiosity invites you to observe details, then leaves room for the thought of how fragile that environment is. The light-translated ice thus offers an image to remember and an opportunity to feel closer what happens to the planet.

Technical characteristics

Bears have aluminum frames and cold white LED microlights intermittent. Inside, polycarbonate spheres are illuminated by variable color lamps. The adult bear is 3.2 meters long and 2.2 meters high; the two small ones are 1.3 meters long and 90 cm tall. A blue carpet with lights, shaped blocks with imitation of the ice and nine bright crystals complete the scene.
