Park of the Seminar

The Park of the Seminary is located in the upper part of Salerno, between the Seripando and the Mennola district, it develops on a small promontory and is articulated in terraces that offer a spectacular view of the port and the city.

The green area has a thick and varied vegetation and is equipped with all the necessary help to overcome the architectural barriers, which make it accessible to all.

The entrance from Via Valerio Laspro is particularly suggestive because it is enriched by a Meridiana, the largest in Europe, made by Erika Beker and Marco Bacchilega in terracotta of Ogliara and glazed ceramics.

The park is home to numerous play areas including play areas and camps for sports, volleyball, soccer, tennis and basketball activities, as well as an area used for shows with capacity of about 800 seats and a “restaurant” area with a kiosk and a pizzeria.

The nature trails, designed within the oasis, are the ideal place for agonistic and amateur training.
