San Matteo 2025 – pyrotechnic show

I “Fuochi di San Matteo” constitute an indispensable appointment of 21 September of each year, day of celebration of San Matteo, Patron Saint of the city of Salerno.

After having lived, each in his own way, a day as always full of expectations and emotions, climbers and do not pour out largely on the city promenade, to meet and spend together the last hours of the evening.

As from tradition, at the first burst in the sky, a real moment of general aggregation is realized: every speech and every occupation is abandoned to focus on the spectacle of the fires at sea, in the wonderful scenery of the night gulf that lights up to greet San Matteo, and to embrace metaphorically all present, in a festive atmosphere and greeting for the city.

Appointment, as always, at the stroke of midnight!
