Il Poeta – Livio Ceccarelli – 2017

Artist Livio Ceccarelli

A man writes in the air. The figure conceived by Livio Ceccarelli seems to entrust his own words to space, letting it become the sheet on which to collect them in the evening. The gesture of writing, usually intimate, opens in the eyes of passersby and invites you to imagine what is coming from that hand. A memory, perhaps, or a phrase that long sought its form. In front of the Poet, the walk meets a pause of listening: even those who look can continue that thought and add, in silence, something of themselves.

Technical characteristics

The figure is built with shaped and welded aluminium profiles. White cold, blue and red LED tubes follow the artist’s design, making the character and gesture of writing bright.
