A red line crosses the dark and lets emerge more faces within the same figure. Following it with the eyes, the portrait changes: a profile leads to the next one without interrupting and every physiognomy keeps something that has just been met. Eliana Petrizzi entrusts to this continuous sign the sense of metamorphosis. In front of the work, recognizing a face becomes an exercise of attention open to what is about to appear. The light holds together the different presences and invites us to think about identity as a living form, that time and meetings continue to transform.

Technical characteristics

The work is made with a welded aluminum frame on which a red LED tube is attached. The continuous luminous stretch defines the profiles of different faces, united in a single composition.
