Don Quixote – Eduardo Giannattasio – 2016

Artist Eduardo Giannattasio

In the dark one recognizes a knight, drawn by an essential red sign. It is Don Quixote, the character of Cervantes who continues to look at the world through the strength of their dreams. Eduardo Giannattasio gives light to the silhouette and leaves to the imagination the landscape of his adventures. Those who stop in front of the work can find the tenacity, fragility and stubborn trust of this traveller. His presence accompanies the walk with a discreet question about what we choose to see and the hopes that push us back on our way.

Technical characteristics

The shape of the rider is made with an aluminium profile structure. A red LED tube follows the artist’s design and makes the figure visible through an essential light contour.
